Simulation of Azya’s PSN Chemotherapy
The following animation is a cartoon representation of the administration of Azaya Therapeutics PSN; chemotherapy. Azaya’s chemotherapy is administered as an IV infusion over the course of a predetermined period of time. Unlike standard chemotherapy, Azaya’s chemotherapy allows for extended circulation of the encapsulated drug product. Furthermore, Azaya’s PSN nanoparticles take advantage of a natural vasculature leakage of tumor tissue, allowing specific targeting of diseased tissues. The enhanced permeation and retention (EPR effect) of chemotherapies allows for a significant improvement in tumor regression. The simulation illustrates, based upon experimental data, the dramatic effect of Azaya Therapeutics PSN technology with encapsulated cytotoxic agents.
